Senior Human Resources Generalist
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Senior Human Resources Generalist serves as a strategic partner for University departments within the administration portfolio. The Senior Generalist develops recruitment strategies with senior level administration to meet the current and future needs of the departments serviced, assists in the development and implementation of resolutions that address specific human resource and employee/labor relations needs, oversees job evaluations and salary administration to ensure that compensation practices are consistent with University policy, works closely with management to identify appropriate training activity for staff and ensures consistent and equitable application of HR policies and government regulations. The Senior Human Resources Generalist also performs other duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and at least four years of human resources experience, with significant specialized experience in recruitment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills and Abilities: *Strategic planning and strong management, negotiation and communication skills. *Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft office suite and web-based applicant tracking systems. *Ability to serve as the functional contact for human resources employment IT systems and to work closely with the human resources competency center.
