Washington State University (WSU) invites applications in the search for the newly created role of Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer (CCEO). Reporting to the University President, the Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer is responsible for oversight and coordination of compliance activities, advises on and monitors compliance with University rules and regulatory requirements. The position also promotes compliance awareness and serves as a resource in developing or improving compliance-related processes institution wide, including all state and federal anti-discrimination laws and the Office for Equal Opportunity (including Title IX and the Americans with Disabilities Act), Youth Programs/Activities, the Clery Act, Ethics/Conflict of Interest, NCAA Athletics Compliance and other programs/activities as directed by the President. Candidates must demonstrate a record of commitment to customer service and the application of appropriate flexibility in response to issues and opposing points; diplomatic skills working with key stakeholders, including senior officials; sensitivity to and desire to promote diversity; experience interpreting and applying laws, rules, policies and procedures; ability to interact with large groups and individuals at all work levels.
