The Registration Advisor works as a member of a team of individuals who assist faculty advisors and their students through the student's pursuit of studies towards completion of a degree, and/or certificate and/or academic minor offered by Daemen College; bears significant responsibility for the evaluation of transfer studies for prospective and continuing students; assists with the design and maintenance of prospective and existing articulation agreements with other institutions; maintains and updates information on the departmental web site; completes additional projects at the direction of the Registrar and administrative office personnel. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Baccalaureate degree,broad knowledge of computerized office systems, including registration systems, Microsoft Office software, Excel, internet applications,demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail,excellent communication skills,excellent demonstrated organizational skills,demonstrated discretion in the handling of confidential information,demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Although not required, experience in an educational environment, particularly in Registrar or Academic Advisement in a college/university setting, is highly preferred.
