Director of Information Technology

  • Description:

    Beloit College seeks an experienced IT professional passionate about providing high quality, efficient, best practice-based services and infrastructure in service of the teaching, learning, and administrative work of the college. Reporting to the CIO and collaborating closely with the Director of Library and Archives, the Director of Information Technology is responsible for the day to day operations of the department, which includes central systems and networking, administrative computing, desktop hardware and software support, classrooms and labs, and instructional technology.  The Director is a part of the Information Services and Resources Division management team and will work with the CIO to establish departmental priorities, draft policies, create short, medium, and long-term budgets and create and assess mission-based strategic plans.

    B.A., strong service orientation, and five years of progressively responsible supervisory experience directly related to the position required.  Expertise in central systems and networking preferred.  For more information, including knowledge, skills, and ability requirements, please click here.
