Position Summary/Purpose of Position: The Assistant Director will report to the Director of Graduate Academic and Student Affairs and will be responsible for managing several key aspects of the department’s graduate programs (ECE MS, ECE PhD, Master’s in Telecommunications) including operations related to graduate student services. Please note that responsibilities related to the Master’s in Telecommunications are all new. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience in an academic environment (preferably a graduate program). At least one year experience as a supervisor. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Requires ability to interpret graduate policies and procedures. Background should show strong interest and ability to work effectively in a university setting, particularly with student-related programs. Strong verbal/written communication skills as well as the ability to communicate with international students. Strong computer skills (MS Office) and organizational abilities.
