The Assistant Professor of Nursing assumes responsibility for classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction as well as teaching, advising, scholarship, and service requirements within the BSN program. This is an academic year position with tenure track appointment. Applicants should exhibit expertise in clinical practice, research and education, and have the ability and desire to teach in pre-licensure baccalaureate and RN to BSN completion programs. Candidate must have commitment to service learning, student-centered learning/teaching methods, and assessment. Minimum Qualifications and Training Must possess a Master’s degree in Nursing and be eligible for a Georgia Nursing License. Applicants should exhibit expertise in clinical practice, research and education, and have the ability and desire to teach in baccalaureate and RN to BSN programs. Preferred Qualifications and Training Teaching experience, recent clinical experience, and research activities in the areas of mental health, medical-surgical or critical care, and nursing theory and research are preferred. The ability and commitment to use technology and web-based teaching is also preferred. Must upload a copy of RN license
