FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of Art seeks a tenure track Assistant Professor of Graphic Design and Digital Media to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in design and visual communication. 

Faculty will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Lehman College based centers and institutes on research and other projects of scholarly interest.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Candidates should have a strong record of innovative research and creative practice in the field of Graphic Design, an MFA or MA in a related field, with three to five years of college level teaching experience preferred. Additional experience in Motion Graphics and Interactive Technology is a plus.

Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution. Outstanding creative experience and successful teaching. Commitment to contributing to the mission of the Art Department and the College required.
