Position Description Summary:

The George Washington University School of Law may make one or more full-time faculty appointments in subject areas that may include Environmental Law, Intellectual Property, Health Care Law, and/or Tax, among others. In addition, it is possible that we will make one or more faculty appointments in clinical teaching. Appointments will be for either tenure-track or tenured positions.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a J.D. degree or an advanced degree in a relevant field and have relevant experience such as teaching, legal practice, or judicial clerkship. Applicants must also show scholarly promise, evidenced by publications in scholarly journals or scholarly works in progress. In the case of any applicant with tenure, a distinguished record of teaching and scholarship is required.

Advertised Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Established in 1865, The George Washington University Law School is the oldest law school in Washington, DC. The school is accredited by the American Bar Association and is a charter member of the Association of American Law Schools. The Law School is located on the GW campus in the downtown neighborhood familiarly known as Foggy Bottom. The main GW Law complex is located at 2000 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20052.
