Coaches, advises, and facilitates career development to prepare and empower students, alumni and community members to make informed career choices in pursuit of employment, including internships, that will direct them toward their life's goals. Initiates, plans, develops, organizes, implements and evaluates CDC's functions and services in collaboration with other staff. Manages budgets and expenditures to meet fiscal objectives. Coordinates multiple projects related to CDC goals and objectives. Collaborates with employers, alumni, and university administration to assist students who are seeking high quality career positions/internships. Implements basic marketing methodology to reach target audiences. Monitors, analyzes and interprets state, regional and national policies and trends, participates in professional development and training programs and contributes to professional associations. Participates in other training and/or conferences as assigned.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a master's degree in Counseling & Guidance, Educational Psychology, Social Work, or related Social Science field and two years of full time professional employment related to the summary of duties.
