Responsible for working with campus administrative officers to ensure compliance by all university divisions with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, guidelines, and university policies regarding equal opportunity, affirmative action, Title IX, Section 503, VEVRAA, and other anti-discrimination laws under the direction of the Director of the Office of Civil Rights and Institutional Equity. Receive and conduct investigations of complaints based on protected class status concerning alleged discriminatory or harassing behavior within the university. Design and conduct training for the university community. Responsible for the review of all polices and procedures related to equal opportunity and affirmative action. Assist the Director in the implementation and monitoring of the University's Affirmative Action program.

Bachelor's degree.
Three years of similar professional work experience with Equal Employment and Affirmative Action programs.
Demonstrated ability to work successfully with a diverse population.
Comprehensive knowledge of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action policies, laws, and regulations.
Knowledge of government regulations that pertain to students, faculty, staff, and applicants, including Title IX, Section 503, VEVRAA, and other anti-discrimination laws and regulations.
Demonstrated experience conducting harassment and/or discrimination investigations objectively and expeditiously.
Ability to work with and keep sensitive and confidential information.
Demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships.
Demonstrated experience in conducting training and advising.
Demonstrated experience in collecting and analyzing data.
Experience with computer applications, word processing, and presentation programs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to transport reports or other deliveries across campus.
Ability to perform the essential functions and requirements of the job.
