Custom Publishing Coordinator

University Store

Towson University is currently accepting applications for a full-time Custom Publishing Coordinator to work under the direction of the Technical Services Supervisor as the primary operator and contact of the Espresso Book Machine to obtain customer data, assist customers with projects and products, order and maintain materials, and support the University Store e-commerce site.

Responsibilities: acts as primary contact for the Espresso Book Machine resource for UStore; assists with the development and printing of course packets and custom course materials; consults with various University Store staff members as needed; maintains accurate inventory of course packets and tracks sales history; assists with annual and periodic store inventories; assists with floor set-up and restocking; provides customer assistance on the sales floor, over the phone and via email correspondence; and assists with on-line order processing, buyback process, general data entry duties and other duties as assigned.

Required: High school diploma or equivalent plus three years related work experience. Candidate must possess strong customer service skills and attention to detail; be able to manage and run computer systems and machinery; direct and package custom printed books; and be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.  Schedule will include some evening and weekend shifts as needed by the department. A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.

Salary: $28,447 annually with University benefits including annual leave, holidays, personal and sick days; tuition remission; and excellent health, life, and retirement plan. Applicants with TU or USM service may receive salary credit. The position is contingent on funds being available at time of hire.
