General Statement of Duties: Responsible for the overall management and operations of the Office of Admissions. Implements innovative policies, practices and strategies to enroll new traditional, non-traditional and diverse student populations. Serves as a key player in the College’s overall enrollment management planning and operations. Supervises admissions personnel. Qualifications: Masters degree in Education, Administration, Marketing or other related field; Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the field of admissions or enrollment with 2 years at the Director level preferred; Admissions experience performed at the community college level preferred. Demonstrated experience with the Ellucian Banner student admissions & data system or similar enterprise data system. Familiarity with web operations and their management. Demonstrated leadership, management and strong analytical skills. Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall management of the recruitment and admission of all MWCC credit students; Designs and implements a recruitment plan directed at attracting various cohorts of students to the college; Creates, recommends and implements admissions policies and procedures; Conducts research on enrollment and admissions trends and patterns and provides analysis; Forecasts enrollment and works with other key administrators to develop multi-campus college-wide enrollment goals; Develops strategic enrollment and marketing plans in conjunction with marketing staff; Continuously reviews, develops and implements strategies, practices and procedures for the processing or recruitment records and admission applications; Oversees the administration of the Admissions office’s use of the Ellucian Banner student/admissions record system; Serves on various college committees such as Strategic Enrollment Management, Academic Affairs and other related groups; Manages the Admissions office budget; Develops appropriate communication materials in collaboration with the division of Communications & Marketing. Uses of all Microsoft® Office programs and other graphics software. Provides supervision, direction and leadership to admissions personnel including training, orientation and ongoing performance reviews; Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
