Director of Online and Continuing Education
Linfield College - a private, undergraduate, liberal arts and sciences college serving over 2,400 students - seeks a Director of Online and Continuing Education to deliver creativity and vision in a rapidly changing higher education environment. Reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Director is responsible for providing academic and managerial leadership and vision for the Online and Continuing Education programs, while developing, administering, and ensuring the quality of these programs. This position is based on the McMinnville campus. Additional responsibilities include the direct and indirect supervision of program staff, who are primarily located in Portland and McMinnville, Oregon. Qualifications: A Master’s degree in a related field such as business administration, instructional design, curriculum development, or higher education administration and five years of experience in higher education (preferably in a continuing education, online learning, or adult degree program) with three years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required, terminal degree in an appropriate field is preferred.
