We are currently searching for a Temporary Instructional Designer to join our Chicago Office.

The Temporary Instructional Designer will also support and work with the Instructional Design team by reviewing courses in the LMS system to ensure smooth design. Tentative assignment dates are from January 8, 2014 - February 21, 2014.

Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Appraise course creation quality in terms of design, writing, editing; identify and provide for corrective action when needed.

Adhere to design and production schedules.

Assist in completing all phases of the design process, including the use of applications such as Flash when needed.

Edit course design and content in already created courses.

Remain current and have a thorough understanding of the latest industry technology tools and trends in online education.

Position Requirements

One to two years working in an Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Canvas.

One to two years in instructional design and revision preferred.

Excellent project management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively on a team.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
