GENERAL DUTIES

Manages College registration operations and related activities.

- Oversees daily office operations; supervises the maintenance of accurate and secure student records; determines residency eligibility; enforces all retention and release policies regarding the confidentiality of student data

- Improves and maintains department performance regarding information processing through effective system management and staff development

- Reports on all matters pertaining to academic standards, academic petitions, student progress, and maintenance of enrollment eligibility

- Assists with developing strategic plan, evaluating outcomes and ensuring compliance with legal requirements

- Prepares analytical and statistical reports for management

- Provides auditors with appropriate documentation as requested

- May administer Registrar activities related to 'Return of Title lV' funding

- May manage professional and/or clerical staff

- Performs related duties as assigned.

CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION

Reporting to the College Registrar, the Registrar Manager (Deputy Registrar) will serve as a senior member of the office management team, overseeing daily office operations and staff. S/he will assist in promoting productivity, collaboration, and coordination within the office, the Division of Enrollment Management, and the College.

The Deputy Registrar will:
- Oversee daily office operations including professional and clerical staff. Supervise the maintenance of accurate and secure student records. Reinforce retention and release policies regarding the confidentiality of student data.
- Report on all matters pertaining to academic standards, academic petitions, student progress, and maintenance of enrollment eligibility. Prepare analytical and statistical reports for management.
- Assist with developing strategic plans, evaluating outcomes, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Ensure that technology supports office operations effectively and efficiently. Work closely with Information Technology Services to improve information system and web-based applications relevant to processes in the Office of the Registrar.
- Update and maintain the department Web site.
- Administer department processes related to Return to Title IV funding, including term withdrawals.
- Participate in department audits, providing appropriate documentation to auditors as requested.
- Represent the department on campus committees, initiatives, and projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree and six years' related experience required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's Degree is preferred
- Experience using PeopleSoft applications
- At least two years of experience in a management role in a Registrar's Office (as part of the required six years' related experience)

COMPENSATION

$55,602 - $88,418; commensurate with experience and qualifications.
