Job Description: This position will be a shared resource to provide administrative support to the Director for Information Processing Services and to the Director for Classification and Compensation. The employee will serve as the point of contact for each respective unit and prepare a variety of reports and correspondence as necessary. The incumbent will be knowledgeable of policies and procedures and will be able to independently assist with questions received regarding system access and processes for Banner and PeopleAdmin systems. Incumbent will perform data entry for position information, employee indicative data and verify employment history. Review and analyze requests for temporary classification, contractual services agreements, and occasional sporadic work. It is extremely important that the person in this role provide accurate information regarding multi-faceted systems to ensure compliance with data, reporting, and documentation. Candidates should be proficient in formulating spreadsheets and possess considerable knowledge of applications used for gathering, storing, retrieving and analyzing data from multiple sources/systems. Candidates should possess the knowledge and ability needed to maintain web applications, as well as the ability to be creative and work independently on special projects as assigned. Candidates should possess the ability to function independently and successfully, manage multiple responsibilities, handle confidential information and highly sensitive matters in a timely and professional manner. Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Special Instructions to Applicants: This position is subject to the Career Banding Salary Administration Plan. If candidates are not identified at the Journey level, management may consider candidates at a lower competency level. Pay will be commensurate with applicant's competencies as well as budget, equity, and market considerations. Salary Grade Equivalent: 66 (for reduction-in-force priority purposes only)
