The University of North Alabama invites applications for the position of tenure-track Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor in the Department of Secondary Education. Rank will match ability and experience. Qualifications include: an earned doctorate with emphasis in Curriculum, Secondary Education, Educational Psychology, Instructional Leadership/ Administration strong leadership and management skills; excellent verbal and writing skills; demonstration of success as a classroom teacher at the middle/secondary school level; ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses within the department; ability to advise students; ability to work with students and P-12 schools, administrators, and classroom teachers. Additional duties shall include: university and community service initiatives; active and involved leadership role in college and university committees; and involvement with research activities. Undergraduate and graduate programs include: Secondary Education; Instructional Leadership; and Teacher Leader.
