Position Summary: The Associate Director, Weekend MBA is responsible for providing advising, outreach and operational support for the Weekend MBA program, students, alumni and other off-campus constituents in SE Michigan. Responsibilities include: Advising students and preparing them for graduate-level academic success; development of academic programming and support systems to ensure student success; outreach to corporations, organizations, alumni, and key stakeholders throughout SE MI; conducting appropriate marketing and admissions activities to ensure a high-quality class; involvement in appropriate professional and community organizations as a means of connecting with the community; developing and delivering programs and events to engage alumni and area constituents; managing program operations and student services for the Troy location; supporting the program as needed in collaboration with the director on course delivery, scheduling and faculty coordination. The Associate Director reports to the Director of the Weekend MBA Program and works in a semi-autonomous, but collaborative environment. The position requires regional travel as well as evening and weekend responsibilities. This position is based at the Management Education Center in Troy, Michigan.

Support Staff: Minimum Requirements
A master's degree or equivalent. Five years of experience, in graduate education or relevant business experience. Candidates should be knowledgeable about current trends in graduate management education, and familiar with the business environment in SE Michigan. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal, writing, presentation, and technology skills, and have a strong interest in providing high-quality student support and outreach in SE Michigan.

Typing Requirements (wpm):

Desired Qualifications: MBA (especially Executive/Weekend MBA); career experience working with adult students and/or in business development/sales/marketing.
