Visiting Assistant Professor of Sociology and Anthropology (Globalization, Work and Economic Sociology)

Appointment:

Full-time, one-year visiting professor position in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology; begins fall term 2014.

Responsibilities:

Sociologist with expertise in the study of Globalization, Sociology of Work, and/or Economic Sociology. The candidate is expected to teach Introduction to Sociology; Power & Inequality; and Work, Culture, & Globalization. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach Social Theory and/or Research Methods.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. (ABD considered) in Sociology. Candidates must have a Ph.D. by start of appointment. We seek a candidate with a commitment to undergraduate teaching and liberal arts education.

Compensation and Benefits:

Rank: Visiting Assistant Professor

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
