FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.
The successful candidate must be flexible to not only teach Art History classes, but also studio courses. Additional responsibilities include student advising, departmental governance, and the ability to work with fellow faculty members within the Humanities Department and the college as a whole.  The ability to effectively teach in a multi-ethnic student population is paramount.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution. Three years teaching experience is preferred. Continued professional development is expected.
