About The Unit:

Unit Job Summary: Promotions Manager: Plans and implements promotional and publicity campaigns for fifty to seventy-five books per publishing season. Writes catalog copy, press releases, and jacket or cover copy; seeks blurbs and endorsements; reviews advertisements, copy, and catalog pages; researches media and creates review lists; serves as marketing liaison with authors or client publishers and with other departments at the Press; and serves as a contact for these books with the media, including print, electronic, and broadcast.

Unit Education: Bachelor's degree required. Graduate work preferred.

Unit Experience: A minimum two years of related experience required.
