Lead and manage the team responsible for the recruiting and yield efforts for what are currently five world-class masters of science programs. Responsible for managing all actions of the recruiting process ensuring a high-quality experience for all candidates beginning with the very top of the admissions funnel through matriculation; meet or exceed established enrollment targets of headcount and profile quality. Work closely with Executive Director and collaborate with individual program Academic Directors regarding programmatic and admissions concerns. Work cross-functionally with all Full- and Part-time MBA admissions personnel as needed for events, activities and general departmental support. Collaborate with school faculty and staff including Career Services, Student Services, Marketing Communications and Alumni Relations. Develop relationships with key undergraduate institutions, faculty, counselors and corporations domestically and internationally to create a pipeline of high-quality candidates. Represent the Smith School at various functions, activities and outreach events ensuring the highest quality representation and professionalism. Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree required. At least 8 years progressive professional experience in an academic or corporate environment Supervisory experience Proven ability to produce results through goal setting, hard work and effective collaboration Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Mature judgment Strong communication skills; both one-to-one and group presentation Strong work ethic Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships A proven passion for providing high-quality customer service Ability to establish metrics for team and employee goals Proven ability to integrate new ideas and concepts Proven ability to make effective use of time, plan ahead, and coordinate multiple projects Highly developed organizational and computer skills, strict attention to details Friendly, flexible, service-oriented manner Proven ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders including students, faculty, corporate clients, executives and staff Proven ability to respond positively to extreme pressures of time and workload Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work in a highly independent manner at times across functions within the school Ability and willingness to work extended hours as required Ability and desire to work in a team-based environment Preferences: MS or MBA degree preferred Experience working with diverse populations including international students 3 years working in a business school environment and graduate/executive education Direct customer service or consultative sales experience preferred Experience working in a business school environment and graduate/executive education experience preferred Additional Certifications: Additional Information: Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
