Responsibilities

Adjunct positions are pool positions. Qualified applicants will be contacted as a teaching need arises.

The Legal Studies Department invites applications for an adjunct position in the paralegal program at Marymount University in the Washington DC metro area.

The position involves teaching one (no more than two) courses per semester.



Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate(s) will have a Juris Doctor with related work experience in civil litigation and general practice.

The position also requires:

  • Admission to a state bar
  • Experience in general practice; specifically in estate planning, bankruptcy, family law, partnerships and limited liability companies
  • Experience as a practicing attorney
  • Experience working with paralegals
