Working Title: SharePoint Architect and Developer

Posting Information: Western Carolina University division of Information Technology is seeking an application developer with experience in architecting and building solutions for an enterprise-wide intranet using SharePoint. This position will help design the university's intranet and extranet, and will develop SharePoint solutions using technologies such as (but not limited to) SharePoint workflows, web parts, event receivers, and business connectivity services.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements: Graduation from a four-year college or university with nine semester hours in programming and three years of experience in business applications consulting or development. Experience in the field of work related to the position's role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications: - Experience as a technical architect - Experience designing solutions using .NET and SharePoint - Experience managing projects
