Finger Lakes Community College, part of the State University of New York, is located in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. We are seeking a Provost to provide leadership, vision and direction for an innovative, dynamic college that serves approximately 6,400 students and a four-county service area. The Provost must be committed to student success, retention, and completion. The College seeks an experienced, proactive, collaborative academic and student affairs leader who will encourage and inspire our outstanding faculty and staff. The Provost provides direct leadership to three Associate Vice Presidents in Instruction and Assessment, Academic Initiatives, and Student Affairs. The Academic and Student Affairs division of the College includes all academic departments, assessment of student learning, distance learning, concurrent enrollment, academic support services, the library, student life, student health, community standards, educational planning and career services, and the center for teaching and learning. The Provost reports to the President and works with the President’s Cabinet in support of the College’s strategic plan.
