WHEATON COLLEGE – FOREIGN LANGUAGES DEPARTMENT Assistant Professor of Spanish Begin August 2014 Job requirements: Ph.D. in Spanish; specialization open. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish. Experience teaching at the college level. Outstanding skills in and enthusiasm for teaching all levels of Spanish. Proficiency and interest in using instructional technology. Teach three 4-hour courses (or equivalent) per semester. Collaborate with Spanish section and assist with service activities. Supervise student teachers. Assist with study abroad programs.
