Job Description Summary:
Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus two years of relevant experience. Degree requirements may be substituted for an equivalent combination of education, experience and training.


Desired Qualifications:

Self-starter with demonstrated ability to handle multiple concurrent projects from start to finish.

Fluency in Microsoft Office and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Experience with CRM software is strongly preferred.

Relevant practical experience in higher education, data analysis, or communications.

Strong data analytic, project management and organizational skills.

Excellent writing and communications skills and an ability to work collaboratively and support multiple internal constituents.

Candidate should demonstrate positive presence and approachable disposition.

Job Duties
  • Serves as the first point of contact via walk-in, phone, or email for all potential applicants in a specified set of graduate degree and certificate programs. Demonstrates deep knowledge and effectively communicates about program fields of study, curriculum, faculty, and career outcomes.

  • Must develop relationships with an integrated combination of face-to-face, phone, and email communication methods so that School constituents develop trust in his/her skills and abilities.

  • Completes the admissions cycle for chosen applicants by accurately processing admission recommendations into decision letters and notifications in a prompt and timely manner.

  • Initiates the beginning stages of developing an annual Graduate Student Support budget.

  • Initiates the beginning stages of developing the on-campus graduate funding distribution model, then partners with the Director of Admissions and Marketing to add depth to the plan.

  • Assists with all Office of Student Life event coordination to include New Student Orientation, Commencement, Admitted Student Reception, etc.

  • In concert with the Assistant Director of Admission and Marketing, coordinates recruitment and outreach schedule regarding on-campus, off-campus, or online event planning.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Manages/coordinates direct communication of GSEHD funding opportunities to applicants and current students alike. Monitors and responds to GSEHD Tuition Support email inbox.
