Position Information:

Under the general direction of the HR Policy, Program and Project Manager, the Principal HR Program Analyst is responsible for researching, proposing, developing, implementing, managing and evaluating key HR programs/projects in support of HR's strategic objective to deliver progressive HR programs, information and services designed to build and sustain an engaged, diverse, and highly competent workforce.

This is a part-time benefit eligible career position. The full-time annualized salary range for this position is $53,415 - $81,477 or $26,708 - $40,739, when pro-rated to reflect part-time employment.
Minimum Requirements:
Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in human resources, or a relevant field.

Six years demonstrated experience researching, developing and managing employee-focused related programs/projects from inception through implementation.

Demonstrated knowledge, experience and skill in developing and managing work/life programs.

Ability to use discretion, exercise good judgment and resourcefulness, tact, diplomacy and maintain strict confidentiality.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the university and outside agencies.

Demonstrated research, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the development and maintenance of meaningful metrics.

Demonstrated ability to develop and present educational workshops.

Strong initiative and follow-through, self-motivated and results-oriented to set and meet aggressive commitments.

Extensive PC skills to prepare analytical and narrative reports and professional presentations, including advanced knowledge and skill in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant field.

Experience at UC and/or UCR, preferably in the Human Resources area.

Experience in public sector or higher education.

PHR/SPHR certification.
