Working in collaboration with the Learning Skills Unit Manager and other Learning Skills Advisors, this position will advance developmental activities and resources focussed on supporting English language development across the curriculum. It requires experience and knowledge of applying a broad range of media to encourage and support students’ English language and learning skills development for success in higher education programs and future employment. Working hours may be flexible depending on the allocation of staff across timetabling demands and students’ availability. Dependent on previous experience and academic achievement, the successful candidate, will be offered an attractive remuneration package including private medical insurance. To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a Masters degree in an education related field that includes an English Language Acquisition of TESOL component. The ability to deploy and engage students in the use of self-access and online resources for supporting academic language and literacy development will also be highly regarded.
