HRIS Business Analyst

Position Summary
The HRIS Analyst is a member of the Human Resources management team. This position serves as the HR functional analyst for HR and Payroll with primary responsibility for these processes and workflows; and serves as primary liaison between Human Resources and Information Technology. The primary focus of this position is to support the HR Director through the maintenance of HRIS, Ellucian (Banner) and facilitates the analysis and management of the infrastructure and integrity of HR and Payroll Banner modules. Analyzes the work process design and flow and data integrity for all HR related system modules, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities. The HRIS Analyst builds project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules, maintains a systems orientation and can work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report development and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Business Analyst also supports HRMS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

The successful candidate will have:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or relevant and equivalent work experience. To qualify under equivalency, applicants must indicate how they qualify under equivalency by responding to the supplemental questions presented during the application process.
2. Three years of relevant work experience including experience supporting and configuring an HRIS system
3. Three years of experience as a business systems analyst
