Job Summary: This position will develop and teach lecture and laboratory courses at all levels, establish and maintain an active, externally funded research program; conduct high quality research involving students at all levels.

Posting Description: The Civil Engineering Department currently has 14 faculty members. The department offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering accredited by ABET, a Master of Science degree, a Master of Engineering degree, a PhD degree in Civil Engineering, and a new multidisciplinary PhD degree in Engineering and Applied Science. The department has rapidly been growing in competitive research expenditure that encompasses the National Science Foundation CAREER award and other federal grants. Our faculty and graduate students are involved in the full spectrum of civil engineering research at local, state, and national levels accordingly. The College of Engineering and Applied Science takes pride in having a faculty of excellent scholars and engineering practitioners. The candidate will be expected to develop and teach lecture and laboratory courses at all levels, establish and maintain an active, externally funded research program; conduct high quality research involving students at all levels, leading to sponsored research and refereed publications; advise students; and contribute to Department, College, and University governance and to the profession. Minimum Qualifications: - Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or closely related field
