We are seeking part-time, Student Assistant - Office Assistant to work at the SCC Science and Mathematics department providing office and lab support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Organize and perform general office functionsWelcoming and directing students and visitors to faculty and campus services officesAnswering the phone and directing or transferring callers to the correct individual or officeSorting mail and restocking lab suppliesInventorying office and lab suppliesSupport School Administrative Assistants and Lab Coordinators as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a current student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours.Ability to demonstrate a welcoming and smiling demeanorAbility to communicate effectivelyAttention to professionalismAbility to maintain confidentiality
