        ComArtSci seeks a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and professional office assistant to join its fast-paced Academic and Student Affairs Office. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the day-to-day administrative and functional operations of the office. This position will have working hours of 8-5pm Monday through Friday.

        As Office Assistant, you will serve as administrative and clerical support for the Academic and Student Affairs Office within the College of Communication Arts and Sciences. This position will support the Directors and Office Coordinator in administering, maintaining, processing, monitoring, reconciling, etc. student records of ~4,800 undergraduate students. Additionally, this position will serve in a forward-facing position greeting students, family, and various stakeholders who interface with our office as well as support the execution of events, communication strategies, training and professional development, etc. as well as organize and assist with regularized office procedures as required. Strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, communication skills, technology skills, ability to work independently, etc. High proficiency in Microsoft Office package (e.g., excel, outlook, word), Google Drive package (e.g., google sheets), Campus Solutions; novice proficiency with Calendly and Qualtrics.

        Minimum Requirements

        Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in word processing, spreadsheet, database and/or desktop publishing software; presentation and webpage software; typing and filing; maintaining accounting ledgers; may require knowledge of technical or medical terminology and/or technical knowledge or training related to the field of employment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

        • Experience in a high-volume office setting
        • Event coordination experience
