ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for permit fulfillment for internal and external University parking permits. Serves as the primary coordinator for the ADA Gameday Parking program. Oversees reconciliation of Retrieval of Vehicle Registrations “RoVR” search matches of unidentified vehicles with outstanding parking balances.
Coordinates and oversees the parking permit inventory, allocations, and fulfillment for university departments and external vendors. Ensures requests for auxiliary aide and services are processed, reconciled, and billed accurately. Assists with permit design, updates, and maintains parking system database of assigned permits, gate cards, and clickers.
Serves as primary point of contact for the general public regarding concerns and inquiries about the ADA Gameday Parking Program. Reviews and processes ADA football gameday applications. Responsible for assigning spaces in Booster lots designated for disabled parking. Maintains database, permit issuance, and provides customer service support concerning the ADA Gameday Parking Program. Meets with appropriate stakeholders to ensure lot closures information is communicated to the University community. Assists with gameday logistics team to ensure the program operates efficiently.
Assist with planning, coordinating, and correspondence of university special events for Transportation and Parking Services. Assist with billing internal and external customers. Assists with the recruitment and scheduling of staff to work special events for Transportation Services. Assist public relations and communications for assigned events.
Responsible for reconciling ROVR search matches and assigning responsible parties to Accounts Receivable. Responsible for researching unidentified parking accounts through DMV systems. Responsible for processing parking citations and other customer service issues. Serves as backup for daily deposit reconciliation reports and to the Transportation Violation Appeals Board.
Responsible for researching, gathering, and reporting data related to permit sales. Primary contact responsible for customer service escalations and resolutions including researching customer accounts and providing information regarding account activities.
QualificationsHigh school diploma/equivalent and four years of experience. (Note: post high-school education and/or experience may substitute at a comparable rate.)
Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge and ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
- Computer knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.
- Knowledge and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
