Job Duties:
The primary purpose of the Associate Director of Ticket Services is to assist with the day to day operations of the Athletics Ticket Office. The Associate Director oversees the financial management of the ticket office, has supervision over student employees, and leads the ticket operations for the selected sports of baseball, softball and women’s basketball. The Associate Director also oversees the complimentary ticket request program and auditing functions of the ticket office. The ability to work nights and weekends is required in the performance of these duties. The Associate Director will build quality relationships and work collaboratively and professionally with Pirate Club, athletics, and University staff, students, business vendors and all donors and stakeholders. The Associate Director will also abide by all written policies and procedures of ECU, the Department of Athletics, The Educational Foundation (Pirate Club), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and all applicable conferences or associations.
Minimum Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience in accounting work; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Journey: High school diploma or equivalency and three years of experience in accounting work. Associate degree in business administration or accounting.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation:
None
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
- Minimum one year experience in a collegiate ticket office, Division I FBS preferred
- Knowledge of accounting and cash handling principles
- Knowledge of NCAA regulations
- Knowledge of Paciolan Ticketing Software preferred
