This is an on-call position. Provides food service, custodial, grounds maintenance, general labor or other main support on an on-call basis.
Unit Position SummaryThis position will work Monday through Friday, 5am - 9am, totaling 20 hours per week at $15.00 per hour.
Employment is during the academic year, mid-August to end of April, regardless of hire date. Summer work is limited, and year-round employment is not guaranteed.

Join the dynamic IPF Custodial team, to perform cleaning and maintenance activities that support MSUs mission of advancing knowledge & transforming lives! This position will engage in high performing, leading edge practices, using superior cleaning methods, equipment, and standards. Be a part of a growth-oriented and diverse group of professionals that support one another in keeping MSU facilities clean, safe, and beautiful!
This position will perform cleaning and maintenance activities; understands and gives verbal or written instructions; reads chemical, biological, or radioactive warning signs; removes snow with shovel or snow blower; retains training information required for custodial methods, equipment, and products; works with student employees and communicates and interacts with the University community; serves as a liaison with the Department of Public Safety; maintains product inventory; makes independent decisions to accomplish acceptable cleaning standards using appropriate methods, products, and equipment.
