Department Summary Luskin IT proactively manages IT customer satisfaction and loyalty, ensuring interactions meet customer needs and managing and resolving common customer inquiries and needs. Luskin IT acts as the “front door” for the Luskin School of Public Affairs in all aspects of school computer providing tiered support to handle most common IT user needs including software, endpoint, classroom technology and access inquiries. The Luskin IT team serves as the singular contact point for Luskin School of Public Affairs by responding to and resolving common customer inquiries for a diverse range of university stakeholders received via a variety of channels including phone, email, walk-in, and ticket requests. The team escalates tickets to appropriate parties, tracking timely and accurate resolution. The Luskin IT team builds a best-in-class organization by providing excellent customer service to a broad range of customers. Position Summary Luskin IT is seeking an incumbent to assist the department with a variety of helpdesk reception and light administrative work. This position will involve a variety of administrative tasks and duties. This position provides exposure to graduate teaching users, basic classroom technology, and basic helpdesk tasks as well as the opportunity to work with a team of experienced IT administrators. Qualifications Familiar with common office software applications (MS Office, Zoom, Google Workspace, etc). (Required) Ability to use common knowledge and basic IT concepts to understand support customer requests and to assist with basic needs or escalate. (Preferred) Reliable and customer service oriented. (Required) Strong demonstrated problem-solving skills (quick learner). Able to ask questions, gather information, evaluate options, and make decisions with integrity.
