ResponsibilitiesManages the adjudication of cases for students charged with violations of the Student Conduct Code. Maintains files regarding student conduct cases. Adjudicates cases through the management of formal administrative hearings, informal administrative hearings, hearing panels, student conduct hearing boards, and all other resolution options available to students.

Adjudicates cases through the management of formal administrative hearings, informal administrative hearings, hearing panels, student conduct hearing boards, and all other resolution options available to students.
Consults with the Assistant Dean to determine if allegations of misconduct from investigative reports meet the threshold for conduct policy violations. Schedules hearings, specifically for cases involving sexual misconduct allegations under the University's Title IX or Sex Discrimination and Sexual Misconduct Policy. Serves as one of the staff members managing all logistical components of case management for these matters.
Conducts information sessions. Assists in the delivery of trainings to internal and external stakeholders as it relates to the University Administrative conduct processes and procedures. Maintains training materials in collaboration with the Title IX office and in accordance with all federal, state and university regulations related to the Title IX grievance procedures.
Serves as a liaison to other areas of the Division of Student Affairs, such as Title IX Office, Victim Advocate Program, Student Support and Transitions, & University Housing, University when appropriate. Maintains strong relationships with other campus partners, ie FSU Police Department, Athletic Department, Office of the General Counsel, and Human Resources.
Under the direction of the Assistant Dean, assists in recommending, developing, updating, implementing departmental policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned in support of the administrative functions of the Department of Student Conduct and Community Standards.
QualificationsBachelor's degree and two years experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)
