For more information, visit: http://www.dasnr.okstate.edu/ Position Duties:About the Position: Provide PRE-AWARD sponsored programs support to DASNR department faculty and staff, including, but not limited to proposal development, budget development, and proposal submission.
· Advise faculty and staff in preparing appropriate proposal budgets, including the calculation and allowability of indirect costs.
· Coordinate supporting proposal documentation with project personnel that may be housed in other colleges at OSU or at other institutions.
· Learn and maintain a working knowledge of sponsors’ programs, requirements, and systems for proposal development and submission. Assist faculty in meeting proposal requirements, including fiscal accuracy and administrative compliance.
· Learn and demonstrate understanding of regulations applicable to sponsored programs administration – federal, state, and private. This includes OMB Uniform Guidance Requirements, Cost Principles, & Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, CAS, FAR and the State of Oklahoma purchasing policies. Also learn/maintain a working knowledge of University policies concerning sponsored programs, intellectual property, compliance, and other related issues. Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Required: High School/GED with 4 years of experience in Sponsored Programs administration or another related field. Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience.

Preferred: Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Business Administration, Agriculture, or related field. Ten years of previous experience in sponsored programs/research administration or closely related field. Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience.

Preferred Certifications: Certified Research Administrator, Certified Pre-award Research Administrator

Preferred Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge: Grants.gov workspace, Research.gov, NIH Assist
