Position Summary:

The Assistant Director of Law Admissions will play a crucial role on the Law School Admissions team by actively contributing to the recruitment and enrollment process. This individual will be responsible for assisting the Associate Dean with managing travel and recruitment efforts, including attending law fairs, panels, and forums. This position will oversee the 5 paid student admission assistants and manage the Student Volunteer program. Additionally, the Assistant Director will take the lead in the management of the Admissions CRM system, UNITE, and ensure its effective use in collecting and tracking data. The role will involve engaging directly with prospective students through in-person and virtual meetings, answering inquiries, and providing counsel on the admissions process. The Assistant Director will also participate in on-campus recruitment events, review applications, and make recommendations for admissions decisions.

  • This position may require additional hours beyond the typical work week, to include occasional overnight and weekend work as needed to meet the business needs of the operation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in higher education admissions, preferably within a law school environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the law school admissions process, recruitment strategies, and best practices.
  • Proven experience managing CRM systems, particularly UNITE or similar platforms, with the ability to analyze and use data for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing or supervising staff or student workers is a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for recruitment events and outreach.
  • Willingness to travel extensively during peak recruitment seasons (fall, winter, and spring).
  • Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and recruitment activities.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the admissions process and the broader law school community.

Advertised Pay Range:

Up to $65,000 commensurate with experience
