Job Description:

The Department of Biological Sciences at Binghamton University (http://www.binghamton.edu/biology/ ) invites applications for a Lecturer with expertise in Anatomy and Physiology. Successful applicants are expected to contribute to teaching laboratory components. Principal responsibilities are the instruction of laboratories for a large-enrollment Anatomy and Physiology, a two-semester course sequence, renewal of laboratory curriculum for the same courses, and the supervision of any Teaching Assistants for the courses.

Initial appointment is for up to three years, beginning August 19, 2025, with the possibility of renewal.

Requirements:

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Biology or cognate field by August 18, 2025
• Prior experience in teaching Human Anatomy & Physiology courses at the college or university level

Preferred:

• Experience in teaching large enrollment courses
• Interest and ability in the use of alternative and innovative instructional methods
• Familiarity with the use of technology in the classroom.
