Summary

As a critical member of the Human Resources and Institutional Equity, Student Employment team, the Student Employment Coordinator provides high quality customer service to all constituents while performing a variety of complex administrative duties. The primary duties include processing new hire assignments for students, assisting departments with hiring processes, and coordinating and overseeing the I-9 E-Verification Process. Coordinates, facilitates, reviews and updates content of the New Student Employee Orientation program, provides Handshake Employer support, and Student Hiring Manager training.

Required Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree and one year clerical/office administrative experience•Or•High School Diploma/Equivalent and two years’ administrative office experience

Preferred Qualifications

•Human Resources experience.•Work experience in a higher education setting.•Training or teaching experience.
