Position Summary::

This position reports directly to the Director of Purchasing and Accounts Payable. Primary duties include operating print, copy and finishing machines; ordering supplies and paper; receiving shipments and matching packing slips with purchasing orders; entering received items into the ERP system; preparing shipments, ordering supplies and maintaining inventories of supplies at various college locations. Additional responsibilities may include courier and delivery duties.

Required Education/Experience::

  • Associate degree

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills::

  • Experience operating high volume printers and copiers.
  • Experience using Microsoft word and excel.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities::

lifting, bending, reaching, pulling and moving of items up to 50 pounds.

Duty and Responsibility::

  • Receive shipments and match packing slip against purchase order.

The college's New and Expanding Industry Training office has earned national recognition for cooperative training efforts with area industries. Focused Industrial Training designs innovative educational programs for the service region's manufacturing sector.

An important function of the college is to provide educational programs on the pre-college level. Literacy Services offer adults the opportunity for meaningful social and occupational growth through Adult Basic Education (ABE), Human Resources Development (HRD), and the High School Equivalency Program (GED).
