Duties:

Support the goals and mission of the college; provide quality instruction to students; and communicate with your department chair or administrator. Teaching duties will consist of instructor selection from a variety of discipline courses at the community college level including industrial/electronics/electromechanical technology, mechanical design, engineering technology, robotics, and CAD. Teaching duties consist of courses in one or more of the mentioned areas, both in lecture and laboratory environments.

Education/Experience:


  • Associate’s degree in an Engineering or Engineering Technology-related field. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
  • Minimum of one year (2000 hours) of professional experience in an Engineering or Engineering Technology field
  • Post-secondary teaching experience
  • FANUC Certification is preferred

Qualifications:

In addition to the experience and education required above, qualifications include a working knowledge of electromechanical systems, electronic and programmable controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will maintain the highest possible standards for classroom instruction. Applies innovative teaching pedagogies and demonstrates ability to work with students at all skill levels. Teaching duties will consist of preparing, instructing, and evaluating courses; seeking continuous improvement in teaching methodology and student-centered learning.
