Office Technology/Computer Information Systems Instructor (Full-Time)
Position Type:Faculty

Work Location:ALL SITES
Duties:Support the goals and mission of the college; provide quality instruction to students; and communicate with your department chair or administrator.
- Teach office technology courses including keyboarding, document formatting, office language skills, and Microsoft Applications.
- Faculty member will be expected to assume Office Technology Coordinator responsibilities in their second year, in addition to their teaching responsibilities.
- Teach web design and Adobe Creative Suite courses as qualified.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer related field required.
- Microsoft Office Specialist Certification (in any application) required.
- Minimum of one year (2000 hours) of professional experience using office technology required.
- Post-secondary teaching experience required.
- Preferred: A minimum of one year (2000 hours) of professional experience using the Adobe Creative Suite demonstrated through a work portfolio is preferred.
In addition to the above education and experience, the ideal candidate will maintain the highest standards for classroom instruction; faculty member applies innovative teaching pedagogies and demonstrates ability to work with students at all skill levels. Teaching duties will consist of preparing, instructing, and evaluating courses; seeking continuous improvement in teaching methodology and student-centered learning.

Salary/Wage:$55,284-$66,812 (Baseload is 15 ECH)
