About the Position


As a VE Teacher, ICT, you will hold a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of your students. Your commitment to delivering engaging course material, thoughtfully assessing student performance, and diligently monitoring their progress is essential for fostering an enriching learning environment. Your proactive involvement in the continuous review of course content, innovative teaching methods, and student assessments helps uphold the highest standards of excellence. Furthermore, your collaboration with external organizations, industry groups, and RMIT's teaching and administrative staff is instrumental in cultivating robust partnerships that enhance the educational experience. Your dedication not only inspires students but also contributes significantly to the broader academic community.


To be successful in this position, you'll have:



  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills relevant to teaching and consultancy environments.

  • Skills and experience in competency-based assessment.

  • Ability in ensuring current and contemporary vocational competence which meets and/or exceeds the education level being delivered and assessed.

  • Experience in relevant industry, and substantial discipline knowledge.

  • Capacity to diagnose learning problems in students, propose and implement effective solutions.

  • Ability to contribute effectively as a constructive and proactive member of a team.

  • Skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies.


Qualifications




  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment
