Job SummaryThe Title III Coordinator is a grant funded position (funded by the Title III Grant) that oversees all aspects of the Title III SIP project implementation and evaluation. The project coordinator will possess the skills and experience required to manage all project activities effectively and will devote the necessary time and effort to oversee the implementation and evaluation of all project activities. This position will report to the President on all matters related to Title III.
Responsibilities- Plan, direct, and lead implementation of GSC Title III project.
- Communicate project progress and challenges to the president, senior staff, Title III management team, and other GSC constituencies regarding planning and implementation of Title III project activities.
- Supervise data collection and analyses for on-going project evaluation and serve as liaison to the external evaluator.
- Manage, approve, and monitor budget processes with appropriate business office personnel.
- Oversee and participate in development of training for faculty, staff, and students.
- Adjust project activities, with appropriate approval, based on formative evaluation data.
- Work with administrators, faculty, professional advisors, and others with the organization to institutionalize Title III activity.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable University System of Georgia, state, Gordon State College, and federal regulations.
- Initiate and chair the Title III management team.
- Prepare summative and formative evaluation reports and annual performance reports for the U.S. Department of Education.
- Serve as liaison between GSC and the U.S. Department of Education.
- Coordinate effective implementation of all grant activities.
- Collaborate with GSC stakeholders in planning and implementation of Title III grant activities.
- Master's degree in higher education or a related academic discipline.
- Five years of experience managing projects related to student retention and graduation.
- Two years of higher education leadership experience.

- Demonstrated skill in managing projects and budgets with specified goals, objectives, and timelines.
