Position Summary:
The Game Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating sporting events on campus. This position is governed by state and federal laws and institution policy
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Game Operations Supervisor will report to the Assistant AD for Athletic Operations and Facilities
- Help with maintaining and prepping all athletic facilities
- Assist with all home sporting athletic events
- Oversees the game operations and acts as game manager for Soccer (Fall), Men’s Basketball (Winter-Spring), Tennis (Spring), Bowling
- Assists with supervising student assistants
- Athletic facility maintenance/ Fields and Landscaping (practice fields, soccer)
- Assists with creation of various game operation documents
- Manages master practice calendar for all sports
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Experience in managing daily facility operations
Experience in field maintenance of turf and grass
Ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines
Ability to perform manual labor under various working conditions. Use of hands and landscaping tools (mower, weed eater, edger, and use of small utility vehicles)
Proficiency with computer applications (word, excel, office, etc.)
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance

Minimum Qualifications:
An earned Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position.
Two to three (2-3) years of experience at the collegiate level in facilities and event management is required.

The Arkansas State University System is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees appointed by the Governor of Arkansas to serve staggered seven-year terms. The trustees hire the system president, approve the curriculum, annually approve an operating budget, and establish policies for the efficient and effective operation of the institutions.
