Job Summary:
Assist the Associate ERP Application Developer and other team members in maintaining and improving the college's Enterprise Resources System (Workday) and other integrated applications. If the candidate does not have prior Workday or related ERP experience, this role will be provided training and mentorship from other staff members to acquire the necessary skills and working knowledge of Collin’s applicationsRequired Qualifications:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with designing and developing custom applications within the Workday platform to meet business requirements.
- Learn the workday reporting tools and assist in writing custom reports as defined by our functional users to support the objectives of the departments.
- Assist with creating integrations between Workday and other systems, such as ERP systems, payroll systems, or third-party applications. Learn and use Workday's integration tools, such as Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday Web Services (WWS).
- Assist with customization of existing Workday functionalities to align with the organization's specific needs.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Workday applications and integrations, investigate and resolve issues reported by end-users.
- Document application designs, configurations, and code changes to ensure clarity and maintainability.
- Assist with writing and executing test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of Workday applications and integrations. This includes both functional testing to validate that the system behaves as expected and integration testing to verify data flows between systems.
- Stay updated on new features and best practices within the Workday platform and implement improvements to existing applications and processes.

- Knowledge of technical design, technical unit and integration testing, and technical requirements

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative, fast-paced environment
Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Little physical effort required.
Requirements
Must be a college student actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), or Management Information Systems (MIS).
