The Digital Marketing Manager develops and executes comprehensive digital marketing strategies across five unique units: Live Arts Miami, Miami Book Fair, Miami Film Festival, Museum of Art and Design (MOAD), and Koubek Center. The position is instrumental in ensuring that digital marketing efforts are strategically aligned with the overarching goals of Cultural Affairs while also maintaining the individuality of each unit's branding and messaging.

This grant position will be eligible for participation in the Florida Retirement System (FRS) after 6 consecutive months of continuous employment.

This is a temporary grant funded position through July 01, 2029, contingent upon grant or funding and grant extensions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a cohesive digital marketing strategy that promotes Miami Dade College’s Cultural Affairs initiatives across all five units, ensuring alignment with overall institutional goals and objectives
• Works closely with each unit to identify their specific digital marketing needs and assists them in executing tailored campaigns while maintaining a unified brand presence for Cultural Affairs
• Collaborates with Miami Dade College's central marketing department to ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and strategy across all digital platforms and communications
• Influences and oversees the social media strategy for Cultural Affairs, including content creation, engagement tactics, and analytics reporting to maximize audience reach and engagement
• Oversees the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), and content marketing, ensuring highquality and impactful outreach
• Monitors and analyzes digital marketing performance metrics and KPIs, adjusting strategies as necessary to improve effectiveness and audience engagement
• Manages the digital marketing budget, ensuring the allocation of resources aligns with strategic priorities and maximizes ROI
• Provides guidance and support to staff within the Cultural Affairs units on digital marketing best practices, tools, and techniques
• Identifies opportunities for community engagement through digital initiatives, enhancing the visibility of Cultural Affairs within the local and broader community
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field and three (3) years’ experience in digital marketing, preferably within the arts, culture, or academic sectors; or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field and seven (7) years of directly related experience\
• Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and content management systems
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful digital marketing strategies
• Proven experience working in cross-departmental teams within complex organizational environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Analytical mindset with experience in using data to drive decision-making and optimize marketing strategies
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance the needs of different units while maintaining a cohesive marketing approach
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
• Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff

Additional Requirements

The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
